Seems like you get more bang for your buck.
That depends on which features you want. In my case, to get the features that I wanted would have bumped me up to a higher trim level with RAM or GM whereas with the Ford I could stay at the lower trim level and just add those one or two features. But for higher equipped models I think you're right that you generally can get more bang for your buck with the RAM.

Had a 2015 Ram Laramie that I just got rid of. 110k miles, zero issues.

My best friend bought a new one and she loves it.
My boss drives a Ram and swears by them.

2013 Tundra, 240,000 miles…no issues.
Had one RAM about 10-15 years ago. At around 90,000 miles was making weird noises and transmission started having issues. Never again.
I like to keep vehicles for a minimum of 200,000 miles. Have had two Tundras that far exceeded this. I buy vehicles to be practical not to ‘look cool’ and set my family back years.

I am going to be in the market early next year. Currently drive a 2014 tundra with 165k on it. Thinking about maybe a dodge as I have not heard good things about the new tundra.

I’d just keep driving it. My current goal is to get 250k out of mine. It still runs like the day I bought it.

I own a Ram. It’s the best truck I’ve driven. I have a warranty and I would never buy any truck without one ever again.
All the brands have their issues. Ram fricked the 5.8L hemi in the 5th gen by refusing to acknowledge that they made the oil pump too small. That’s what has caused the most engine failures in Ram 5.8L engines. If you are a good mechanic you can replace the stock pump with the filter from the Hellcat. It’s a bigger gauge and can provide more oil flow. The stock on the 1500 is way undersized.
The newer ones are very nice but definitely cover your arse with a warranty and once it expires, trade it in

Loved my ‘13 5.7L Big Horn
Watching their new offering, Ram Charger closely. I really like the idea of an electric power train with gas v6 generator.
Def will not for the first generation wherever they come out but I’ll give it look in the following years

I have a 2021 Ram. Its a solid truck. Interior is the best of any truck I've owned. I hate the eTorque and I wish I would have done a little more homework on it before buying it.
Right now Ram is offering a 10 year 100k mile warranty on the 2026 models, which is very solid.

I have a 2021 F-150. constant transmission issues that they can't seem to resolve along with a glitchy electrical system that eats batteries. It has the maxx-tow package and 4wd.
My cousin had a GMC 1500 5.3 that got the dreaded lifter issue. His wife has a brand new Yukon that had to have complete engine replacement, 6.2.
My next truck will be a Ram 1500 or 2500. My wife's Wagoneer with the 5.7 has been bulletproof. (not the Grand Wagoneer.)

I don't have personal experience with them. But I do follow this guy on Youtube and TikTok who runs a big Auto shop in Utah. He's been around the block and knows his shite. He hasn't had anything good to say about RAM trucks for a while. They are constantly yanking the engines out to fix main bearings and other serious shite with the engines. Take that for what its worth. It ain't all of them, but it's a crap shot from what I understand.

i have a 14 year tacoma but started browsing trucks and the 1500 Rho has really caught my attention but that price tag makes me ill.
I heard Mark Dodge in Lake Charles is the place to buy your Rams from anywhere in the US
