What's the nicest house in Louisiana?

Strictly talking about houses that people currently reside in and not houses that are businesses, governors mansions, or those little plantation homes that you pay a ticket to see. What are some of the OT baller 10 houses. If you're unsure of Louisiana then what about your city.

Bernhard estate is definitely top 10. And actively lived in

Owner of Lavigne trucking has an amazing house. Too bad it’s in Ponchatoula.

Is that the house with the lake on 22? I thought that was the guy that owned Dixie RV?

That new construction on Highland between campus and lee that's been on the market for 7 years and has weeds growing up through the driveway.

Nice home home in a good neighborhood, and PAID FOR. That last part makes it a GREAT home.

Nicest is hard to quantify.
A baw may think that a house with a gun room is nicest while a soy boy may think that a house with a yoga studio is nicest.
Does a person prefer that Acadian style home or a home with marble from floor to ceiling?
Can also discuss the location, location, location...
Most Expensive? We can certainly talk about that, but difficult to say what nicest is.

Was that Saban’s old place?

Probably one of those mid 19th century Victorian houses in the lower garden district. Then again the only thing I know is uptown and live in a bubble.

Yes.

He lives in Mandeville. Guy who owns Berryland RV has a nice house down the road. Nowhere near as extravagant as Chip’s.

Nobody is buying that house in that location.

There are many hidden gems uptown and in the quarter...the real ballers don’t have to flaunt it with obnoxious 30,000 sqft. houses.

Remember that time you got busted for making up a story to impress strangers on the internet?

Whoever owns it, it’s a big freaking home. Just the fence alone is outrageously expensive.

What about that big-arse castle on Perkins, near the Ascension Parish line?
