What's the most unusual item that a housekeeper has stolen from your residence?

I think my housekeeper has been helping herself to my forks and knives. Yes, this is a subtle brag that I don't eat with my hands.

They’d never get past security. Besides, Rosa would never steal.

Not really a thing, but we had a housekeeper who we found out was asking for “gas money” from my sister over a period of 8 months. My sister felt guilty and gave it to her.

We come to find out about this. Turns out she was using all the gas money at L’Auberge.

She wasn’t a good gambler.

I find it highly unlikely that you have time to clean your trailer since you spend every waking second on this site.

I live in a bigger house than you do.

I live in a VERY affluent unincorporated, gate-guarded community

After divorce I got the house and custody of my 2 children (7 & 4 YO). One housekeeper I let use my Jeep Cherokee to take the kids to and from school while I worked (40 min commute). Noticed the miles on the Jeep were sky high and got a message from the bank that my checking account was over drawn. Turns out she was stealing and cashing my checks at a local supermarket while joy riding in my Jeep. The bank made everything good when I pointed out the sig on the checks were bogus. The bank handled the legal issues, thank god. She was fired with the quickest.
