On the very first day of scratch off tickets I won $5,000. Tickets went on sale at noon that Friday. I arrived at the door of a local gas station and held the door open for a woman who otherwise would have been behind me in line and bought the tickets I got. There was a line of about 10 people buying tickets. I bought 10 tickets and drove home, sat down at the table and began scratching. I had never played scratch off before. When I lined up three $5,000s on the third ticket I thought I must not understand the game. Went back to the store and asked the clerk if I had a winner. She screamed. The next day I had to go to the local lottery office to pick up a check for $5,000 minus taxes held out.

On my way through Lafayette a couple weeks ago I won a little over 5000 at 2 different video poker places on hwy 90. In June, I won 7k in LaPlace at the video poker place. Cashier had to finish paying me the last grand in 5's.

1985 St Joan of Arc fair in LaPlace. $300 bingo pot. Only four balls rolled. I hit the four corners.

I won the powerball back in 2003, well not exactly. I got 5 numbers but didn't get the PB. I ended up winning $2 million.

17,000 from a video poker machine at Planet Hollywood in Vegas a few years ago. Sat down after lunch and this machine went off. $8k royal, and many more payables. My pockets were bulging with paper on the walk back to the Cosmo.

Have won over $600 multiple times playing black jack at Beau Rivage and the Hard Rock betting $10 a hand.
Won $750 on parlay at Caesars on the Saints/Lions 2012 playoff game. Lost most of it 2 days later on 1/9/12

$4000 on a Wizard of Oz slot machine back in the day. This was when they had nickel slots and you could actually hit some decent jackpots now and then. Now all they have are pennies and a big win is $400 it seems. Don't have time for that anymore, no more gambling for me, I prefer to travel.
