When I was a paperboy as a kid, one customer had a viscious dog that used to chase the shite out of me. It never bit me, but came close a few times. One day I took an old baseball bat and drove some nails through it. Sure enough that stupid dog chased me and I nailed that sumbitch right in the back. Next morning the damn thing hadn't wised up and chased me yet again, that morning I swung and barely missed, but evidently it got the message because it would never catch up to me again-- sometimes it started to chase me, then remembered what it had coming and would stop.
