Crested butte Colorado to Orange Texas, I think it was 18 or 19 hours... don't really remember; I try to suppress traumatic events.

i have done 12-18 hours several times. For me pulling over and taking a short nap works—-even 10 or 15 minutes let’s me keep going safely.

NOLA to Key West, around 16 hours straight through.
Did the reverse the next morning.
It was easier coming back without towing.
Delivered a boat for a friend.

Hell, I did Baton Rouge to Ames on 3 day weekends when I was in grad school at LSU and my wife and kids were up there.

Longest I have done non-stop is Western Colorado (on the Grand Mesa) to Dallas. What made it long was I got up at 4am, elk hunted until noon, broke down camp, drove to Delta and visited with an aunt and uncle for a couple hours, then drove to Dallas straight through except for gas.

I was awake from 4am Sunday MT to 8 am Monday CT - basically 27 hours awake driving the last 18 or so hours.

Longest awake was 40 hours straight in the Air Force.
