What's the longest stretch of subpar sleep you've ever had?

Waking up this morning at 5am marks the third straight week of getting 5 hours of sleep or less. I feel like shite.

I've been working an outage for the last 6 weeks. I haven't gotten more than 5 hrs of sleep since the end of March.

It's 100% stress related. Working on it.

Even when my son was a newborn I was able to patch together a 7-8 hour night a few times a week.

Go see a doctor man. You need your sleep. It's just going to compound your stress further if you continue to run on empty.

New kid was born a few weeks ago. Gone with less sleep than when my first was born. Ranging 4-5 hours of interrupted sleep each night. My poor wife is nursing and has it far worse.

6 weeks on about 3 hours a night during my divorce.

That was the worst shite ever. I couldn't even hey hammered and take sleep aids and get more than a few hours a night.

Absolutely horrible.

I go to bed at 1 and wake up at 6-6:30 every single night. You get used to it.

This. I went at least 6 months when my twins were infants, and had colic. It was miserable.

You is all some crazy motherfrickers. I'd be a hazard on the roads with that little sleep consistently, not to mention useless at work.

If a pill was ever invented that would completely eliminate or severely reduce the need for sleep, I'd be on that like white on rice.

Sleep is an inefficient use of our limited time.

I've had bouts of insomnia. Only sleeping 2-3 hours per night for about 4 months at its worst. That was in college when a friend died.

It's usually stress related. Then not being able to sleep adds to stress and makes it worse. Ambien helps but don't get dependant on that shite

When I worked offshore I once saw the sun set twice and rise 3 times before going to sleep. Then the rig put our crew on a crew boat and sent us to the dock.
