Spain park high school/Hoover high school on the weekends.
Spain park recreation during the week.
We play about 18 games a season before playoffs. Some folks put together tournament teams made up of guys across the league.

I was asked to play in one of those leagues when I was in my late 20's. I said hell yeh....found out they needed pitching and said no thanks

86/87 as a Freshman when I was 14 years old. Got clocked at Jacksonville University where I trained with their pitching coach. Unfortunately an idiot coach and incompetent doctor fricked my shoulder up and cost me my shot at playing in college. I had two surgeries, the second one by James Andrews in Alabama. Still bothers me to this day.
I know this sounds like some OT baller bullshite, but it's true unfortunately.

Clocked at 84 from home to 2nd, only pitched my senior year. Dont recall getting clocked, but I would imagine it was about the same.

my throw from the plate to second was as fast/faster than most of our pitchers, and two of them made it to AAA

I registered a 62 mph ball at one of those carnival events if that counts .

Not sure. I was from a small town, and was never clocked. One time though, an ump called a strike, and my catcher said "mr ump, the pitch was moving so fast that there's no way you saw where it was when it crossed the zone."
The ump said "you're rifht. But it sounded high."
