I thought you do a bunch of baseball stuff? I might be thinking about somebody else.

Or I didn't catch the joke.

Low 80's. I was only about 5'7" 140 in high school though

My crowning athletic achievement was being the shortest white kid in school that could hang on the rim. My hands are too small to dunk though

Eta: I hosed Matt Den Dekker at the plate once. Good times.

Never was clocked. I was way to wild to be a pitcher. Was probably the best infielder on the team when it came to fielding but too many overthrows to 1st base got me moved to centerfield.

Scholarships for baseball. The other poster is correct I believe, 11.75 scholarships and not 12.75.

Thats for the big schools. I don't know what the school that offered me is now, but they didn't give any at the time. And it is a private school, so I wasn't willing to rack up 75 k in student loans just to play baseball.

91 twice, North Alabama summer after graduation.

Got older, have tons of damage to rotator cuff and labrum. I just catch now.

Yes, I'm 28 years old and still play competitive baseball here in Birmingham. We play some team from Baton Rouge fairly often in a Memorial Day tournament in Atlanta.

Damn. If I wasn't old and worn out, I would join you. I bet I can still hit mid 80s... even if for one inning
