Very similar here. $169 in 2015, close to $100k more now. Blows my mind how much people are paying for these 1400sq ft, zero lot line houses that were thrown up in like 6 weeks.

sold for $700 a sq/ft.
That’s fricking insane. That’s $1.4 million for a 2000/sf home.

They’re goddamn idiots if they paid that much.

Closest one too me for sale, but different neighborhood

You can do the math on this one, but I bought mine back in mid 2000s for $70/sqft

Here is the backyard of your $1,199,000 home

This is no damn way I would spend that much and expect to see another house.

Bought in 2020 for $180/foot. House directly across the street just sold for $250/foot. Same size as our house.

According to Zillow:

Bought August 2019 - $113.32 per square foot.
Today - $184.79 per square foot. Will be actually more if we sold because the Zestimate doesn't include the massive outdoor space we had built.

house down the street from mine listed for $650k and got an over ask cash offer within 6 hours of hitting the MLS.

Bought mine in 2012 for $510k/$169.10/sq. Current value (realtor.com) is about $654k/$216.80/sq.

Realtor.com says the sale to list there is 100% and the average price per sq ft is $357. So perhaps someone over paid, but $700 sq/ft does not seem to be anywhere near the norm. Unless realtor.com is pulling faulty data.

Depends on the part of Naples as it's a huge area.

$789 a sq/ft

Tons like that in 34108. It's gets worse as you get near 5th Ave.

$1189 a sq/ft in 34108

According to the internet, the average price of a home where we are in New Jersey is just over $272,000. I call shenanigans. We house hunted for awhile. Houses at that price point were shitholes.

Found some info on rate.com that is higher than the last one, but not near what you're suggesting on average (which I believe was the question in the OP)

quote:

In the past week, single family homes in Naples sold on average for $1,137,000 and spent 51 days on the market. In Naples, the inventory of 676 experienced a 2% relisting. The average price per square foot was $516.

$750/ft for above ground. $500-$600 when you factor in the basement.

Yeah, I should have specified inside 41 as opposed to outside although houses aren't exactly cheap outside 41.

I mean, I know prices rise over time, as the prices in my area were probably $100-$120 in my hood when we bought 12 or so years ago, but these price increases are unsustainable.

in the best areas of Boise proper you routinely find houses a little bit over $400/sf.

Most of the area ranges from $325 - 400/sf
