See a lot of them but well done train art is very few and far between.
Here's one I saw in Deer Park TX just a couple weeks back

What if I told you people tag HO scale model trains to look like the real ones for complete layout authenticity.

Because some people are good at it and enjoy doing it. I work for the railroad and I have some awesome pictures of stuff that people have done. And to the guy who said spray paint is cheap. Um they don’t use just ol rattle cans. Some of that shite they use is super high.

If I'm stuck at a RR crossing for 15 minutes I'd rather have some art to look at rather than the same train car over and over again.

Not going to lie, I think it's the only positive to being stuck in traffic at a railroad crossing.

I was always wondered this too
Also who walks around with a spray paint can in their pocket ?

tbh I enjoy some of it.
besides it gives me something to look at while I'm waiting for the train to go by.

Wow, didn’t realize the Class I’s -especially UP who is obsessed with its branding and image - would allow motive power to stay tagged.

Microscale and Blair Line both sell HO and N decals
Microtrains has done a good many graffiti cars which are all copies of actual cars

It didn't take them long to primer over 2519 and was repainted in standard UP livery fairly soon after that.
