Some of them I believe you have to have a landscapers license but a lot are open for public... we like Doug Young’s

Doug Young is my go to place up there. They will sell to anybody but tack on a surcharge if you’re not “in the industry “

I usually make a trip up there once a year or so

They ship all across the United States. The reason there are so many is because of consolidation of resources and pretty much the entire workforce in the area knows the business. The nurseries all work with one another and lots of time consolidate shipping if they can’t fill an entire truck. Lots and lots of ‘undocumented immigrants’ living 15 to a trailer there too.

yep. My last two houses were new construction and Forest Hill is the best way for handling my landscape needs, For me, the selection, pricing, plant availability and quality are worth making the trip.

Ground water quality is what’s makes it sustainable, just like the pocket of growers in the Amite/Folsom area.

Get rid of welfare for healthy people and get rid of the illegals

As can be seen in the many other countries of the world that have no welfare system there will always be a certain percentage of people that are not going to work regardless if they are able, and they are not going to starve. Crime, pan handling, and the number of homeless on the streets will skyrocket, squatters will occupy vacant areas, shanty towns will form and grow for housing.
