Entitlements give people just enough to not want to try and better themselves. This has lead to a "race to the bottom" of sorts in every part of our society. Why work if you make more in benefits without one? Why dress nice if you don't have/want a job? Why go to college if you don't need a job? Why study hard in school if you don't need to go to college? Why even try at anything at all?
Because making any more legal income would cause one to lose their benefits, the only choice for men to make more money without getting kicked off the dole is to sell goods on the black market. Because black markets can't rely on courts to enforce contracts or settle disputes, they are ruled by violence.
Our entitlement culture literally rots our society from the inside out by incentivizing bad behavior while penalizing people who try to better themselves the right way.

Uploading videos and liberals.
Anything remotely offending that you do in public can be uploaded to the Internet in seconds for the world to see. Nobody gets hazed anymore, can't go out and get sloppy drunk without some arse videoing you and putting it on snap chat.
Then you have liberals who get offended by every single thing. They fricking took time out of their day to email a news station to make a woman put on a jacket over her dress.

The illusion of omniscience is damaging to people's minds.
Connectivity/information availability has given us more knowledge than we can handle. The world has changed much faster than we have the ability to evolve.

Adults are supposed to have self control
Parents are supposed to be their children's parents and guides. Not their friend
Kids are supposed to be kids. A 9 yr old shouldn't be deciding if they want to take harmone or estrogen pills
A man is supposed to be manly. Not a sissy boy all in his feelings he should be the king of his domaine, protect his family, and provide stability
A woman is supposeded to be soft and caring. A homemaker and supportive
The examples go on
