Got a lab puppy whose been fighting with fleas for a bit.
I’ve tried bathing her in flea shampoo and spraying her and where she lays down with flea spray (the kind with peppermint I think).
She still has them and the poor thing scratches and bites herself almost constantly.
Any OTers with success with this?

Trifexis.

I haven't seen a flea on my dog in 6 years.

I keep k9 advantix on my lab, and I'm not saying that she never gets a flea on her but I sure don't notice them.

Same here. Good stuff

If the puppy is too young for Trifexis, I’d try at least a standard flea collar

Nary a single flea nor tick in all the years my dog has been on it, even when she hangs around my sister's flea-bitten mongrels (it's a once-a-month chewable).

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

You also need to bomb your house at this point. And probably spray your yard.

Bravecto. Frontline is a waste of time and money.

Is that the pill every 3 months? If so, that shite works.

Dont get frontline. It’s overpriced garbage and rarely works. Trifexis and Nextgard are both solid.

A capstar pill will kill them immediately. Follow up with regular Trifexis doses and you'll never have this problem again.

No matter what you put on ( or in) your dog, you have to get rid of all the fleas and eggs in the house. Carpet, furniture bedding, etc.
