Lived in 4 homes. Three were in a HOA all sold for top dollar and the first one not with HOA let's just say MOST of the homes were well kept but there are always that one.

I haven’t paid my HOA dues in 2 years. Got in a big battle with them a couple of years ago and caught them in a lie. I guess they figured it was in their best interest to leave me alone.

Mine sued the guy and took him to court. They won, and he had to pay for years of payments and attorney fees.
He was an attorney so I guess he figured they wouldn’t fight him.

How much a year are we talking about?
You know there are expenses to a subdivision. Flower beds, light on sign, grass cutting, security cameras, etc.

I just can’t live in a neighborhood where they tell me what I can and can’t do. Fuk that shite. It’s bad enough the government wants to do that I don’t need the neighbors watching me like a hawk every day .
