Lab/Great Dane mix.
Incredibly smart, loyal and defensive of our kids!
Hands down best dog I have ever owned, I miss her dearly

Sheltie. Smart, beautiful, affectionate, obedient, intuitive. She was a great watchdog, but also great with people after being introduced. I miss her still, and probably should get another.
Same, I love my little sheltie. Amazing dogs, doubt I will own another breed at this point because my wife doesn’t want a German Shepherd.

Collie. He saved my mom from a charging Longhorn and once helped me round up cows at 1am when the whole herd escaped.

We’ve had 3 beagles over the years. Our last one passed a few months ago. He was 14 and the best dog I’ve ever had. He was laid back and great with our kids.

We have 2 pugs. Beignet is the mouth piece, Jolly is the muscle. Both are great. We have lots of coyotes out here. Beignet, all 18 pounds of him, has scared off several. Jolly stands between the coyote and me if one comes up when we’re walking. God help the person who tries to harm my niece if they are around.
Right now they are sacked out in my lap for their pre-bedtime naps. They will sleep in my lap until I go to bed. Then get up when I get up and follow me around all day like little pug-shaped shadows. Love them to pieces.

Have had two different sets of Mutts, and they have been the most amazing dogs ever. In early 2000s got a Male pup and Female pup from DS animal shelter. SO and I argued over 1 or 2..ended up on 2. He was a lab/rott mix, she was lab/shephard mix. They were great, even enduring 2 different house break-ins, where they tried to protect their space. Ended up buying first home and they had their forever home, with big backyard to roam and enjoy. He left us in December 2012, and she did in March 2013. Adopted a new girl in Feb 2013, a lab Pitt mix, and her sister showed up in Dec 2013, looking for a home. She's a spaniel mix. They have been loyal, loving companions. Now entering the back part of life, and know time is short. Dogs are the most amazing things that are not human family, and letting these two go will be one of the most hardest things I have ever done.

Vizsla. Good in the field under shotgun busting upland game, chill at the house like a lab. Low maintenance, gorgeous athletic breed. Not sure we'll get another breed after having a couple of Vs.

Foxhound.
Super chill, slept 22 hours a day, just the right amount of affection never gets on your lap or jumps, great with people especially kids, and excellent watchdog.

Boxer. Half protector/half goofball.

French Bulldogs . Got two and they are the most loving dogs I have ever owned. So much personality and smart dogs. I would put my dachshund that lived to 14 a close second

Wandered up to my nanny's house one Christmas Eve shivering and became a great pet

Wasn't mine, but an ex girlfriends dog. Staffordshire terrier.

Not even close. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Incredibly loyal and loving dog. Spotted brown and white. Beautiful dog with flowing white locks. Loves children.
We are on our first Cav. 5 years old. Tri Color
Amazing personality, extreme separation anxiety, and a little possessive with toys.
But overall a fantastic dog. His personality is unmatched compared to our previous dogs(Golden, Lab, Silky) All of our previous breeds have been amazing as well.
I just have never had a dog turn into darth vader around toys like this one has. He hasn't bit me, but that little shite will not let things go, and his jaw is so strong you can't pry things out if he has it in there good.

Golden Retriever from a champion bloodline. The dog is incredibly intelligent and easiest dog to train I've ever owned. Amazingly loyal.
