You have to multiply before you divide.
Why? Because the M is before the D?

Unless I am missing something, this should be easily solved.
6^2= 36
2(3)= 6
4
36/6=6 + 4 = 10?
6^2= 36
2(3)= 6
4
36/6=6 + 4 = 10?

It's 58.
PEMDAS should be written as: P E MD AS. Multiply and Divide are on the same level, as are Addition and Subtraction.

Remember, multiplication and division are paired and done left to right.
Left to right is a myth. The correct way is to convert the division to multiplication. Instead of dividing by two, change that to a multiply by (1/2), that way the left to right order doesn't matter.
At least, that's what I'd do. I might be wrong.

No, it's exponent, multiplication, then division.
Oh lawd

No you dont. It is whichever comes first in the equation.
Same with addition and subtraction.
ETA: the answer is 58.

Yeah but it's not, and you're no Pythagoras.

I am pretty sure I am not, but if I am not missing something.. Some of you really suck at math.

Pemdas is fake news when taken literally since parenthesis here isn't supposed to be synonymous with multiplication. The answer is 58.

answer is 58
2(3) in this case is the same as 2x3. The parentheses mean nothing.
6^2 / 2 x 3 + 4
using pedmas you get 58
