I teach a person a week about the right pointing arrow in the Fed Ex logo.
Anytime I roadtrip with someone else driving, it seems they never know that an exit with 2 towns/cities/roads listed that the first is to the left & the 2nd is to the right.
The home team is either listed on the bottom or the right of the score graphic on TV.

I learned a few weeks ago that certain states ban self service gas stations. There's someone on duty 24/7 to pump your gas for you.
yes - i think washington and maybe oregon. Went on a trip to pnw and the attendant always ran out and would get a little miffed when you started to pump you own gas.

Interstate Highway System that runs north and south are odd and runs east/west are even.

Taught someone just yesterday that just because it's got horns doesn't mean it's a bull. The female bovines have horns also.

They probably are used to cooking rice the way I do. Boil the grains like noodles and drain through a colander when the grain gets the texture u want. Very easy and harder to screw up.

Did you really think everyone knew this?

I must admit, I didn't know that there was an arrow on the fuel gauge on most cars that tells you which side of the car to fill it with until recently.
Holy crap. You're right. Count me in the just learned this camp.

The day I went to get my license my dad took the valve core out of my tire before I woke up. He told me he would take me up to the DMV as soon as I changed it. Which meant changing it twice, because no way was I going to drive around with a donut

On I-10 between Jacksonville and LA the only place it becomes 1 lane permanently is......you guessed it, good ole BR.
This isn't true. I-10 also goes to one lane in San Antonio (Eastbound at least).
I knew about the gas cap arrow... my car and work truck are on different sides so I'd always look so I wouldn't get them mixed up.

Just a guess, but my mom used to have an old Buick that had the gas cap hidden by the license plate. The plate was spring loaded. This also came to mind when someone said they didn't have the arrow pointing to the left or right side of their car... But like I said. Just guessing.

That a UFO doesn't necessarily mean an alien craft.
