I must admit, I didn't know that there was an arrow on the fuel gauge on most cars that tells you which side of the car to fill it with until recently.

Not a single dude in my department knew you could scramble eggs in the microwave. Talking 30s+ year old married men. Smh. But now they do and make breakfast sammiches/burritos/etc. Cheaper and healthier than fast food breakfast. Makes me smile.

You sure about that? Stars are for quality
Yes, quality, but not cleanliness. We were looking for a clean, decent place to travel with young kids, and were mainly concerned that there not be nasty surfaces, gross sheets, etc. Amenities & quality weren't as big a deal to me because I had no intention of using the spa or even reading the paper with a 1 y/o and 3 y/o in tow.
Had to explain that a 2.5 star with great reviews was probably a better bet than the 3.5 star for 50% more with so-so reviews. She was insistent that the 3.5 star would be better. News flash: it was shitty.

I mentioned this a year or two ago here. But I thought AYCE was a brand of Catfish until I saw an AYCE crawfish sign.

Does it have a hose on the side of the pump?

The majority of them do.
Recently taught a 40yo man about mile markers and exit numbers.

Listening to a morning show in OKC years ago, the DJs had a caller who made some reference to Russia winning WWII. The DJ replies, "Russia didn't win WWII, dummy, we did."
DJ's are some of the stupidest people in the world.

If you have a DVR, you can press the pause button while watching tv live. Blew my pop's mind when I showed him that.

Apparently a majority of people have no understanding that the left lane is for passing

A lot of people don't know this as well as other "rules of the road" so to speak.

Even number highways/interstates run west to east or vice versa
and
Odd number highways/interstates run north to south or vice versa
mind was blown!!!
ETA
The side that the exit sign is on prior to your exit is coincides with the side of the road that the exit is located.
mind was equally blown!!!

My parents had no clue. My SO still doesn't understand the concept after 5 years.
