In Hunger Games, when Katniss does a deep curtsey in front of the judges and says "for your consideration Katniss Everdeen" and her mentors (Woody Harrelson and Lenny Kravitz crack up.

That phrase appears in many, many movie ads before the spring award season in Hollywood in the LA Times as

"For your consideration for best picture, Something Ricardos"
"For consideration for best actress, Gweneth Palt"

Since joining this board its my impression that if you want to square off and have a fair fight around BR meet at Sonic.

Everyone has a hotter mate at home than the ladies in the picture threads on the OT

Didn’t believe it, but sure enough after looking it up wind plays a major factor on shots past 200yds. Even with the big daddy 7mag, 20mph winds can drift the bullet 12+ inches.

You should download PointBlank software and play around with it. You start to appreciate the advantages of high BC bullets in the wind.

Wind drift does not baffle me as much as spin drift. This is the drift imparted by the spin of the bullet. My F-Class rifle has 9.6" of spin drift at 1,000 yds.

Folsom Prison Blues is an egregious rip-off of Crescent City Blues by Gordon Jenkins and sung by Beverly Mahr.

Any time Kevin Bacon attends a wedding, he makes it a point to pay the DJ to NOT play Footloose so that he doesnt have to get up and dance, and doesnt take attention away from the bride and groom… true story .

Bombay is presently known as Mumbai.

I did not know this until about a year ago when wondering why I no longer hear about Bombay

My co-worker who's 1/4 Cherokee told about marker trees yesterday. I though I knew a lot about the woods. This is very cool. They would bend a sapling and notch it, the tie it back up so it would grow back straight up. These trees always pointed to something of importance.

Three Notch Road ran from Fort Barrancas (Pensacola) to Fort Mitchell (across the river from Fort Benning). It sort of follows US 29 for most of the way, running along a ridge separating the Pea River and the Conecuh (Escambia). It was created in 1824 and got its name because the surveyor would cut three notches in trees to indicate the route.
