Truck driver chiming in:
People lolly gagging on the merge ramps then getting pissed off at me for not slowing down in heavy traffic to let them in. It's YOUR responsibility to get up to speed and blend in, not the travel lanes responsibility. Push that pedal with your right foot and fricking go.

When traffic is backed up and people will pass up the traffic so they can go around and come up on an entrance further down.. And the people who let them in.
Example: When traffic is backed up on HWY 1 and the intercostal, going into baton rouge, and people who are.. Let's say are close to the walmart on hwy 1.. Decide to get into the left lane, take the port allen exit to cross under the entrance to get on the bridge, to bypass all of the traffic and try to squeeze their way into traffic.
Sometimes there is a cop who will stop people from doing it.. Then people let them in.. That's what I hate. I get as close I can to the car in front of me and make sure they can't get in.. And the funny thing is, they get pissed at you for not letting them in.

Happens regularly on the Atlanta loop. People exit hop all the time which contributes to traffic on the side streets. The me first mentality at its finest.

When the car in front of me taps his brakes for no reason and no one is in front of him and in 2+ seconds behind.

Amen, this my #1. And they put their blinker on as if that grants them some type of privledge to NOT get up to the speed of the traffic. I figured out they are getting on the Interstate when I saw ‘em on the entrance ramp.
# 2 is two vehicles side by side, on a four lane, going the same speed, for miles while cars stack up behind them. They are just oblivious to the world around them and inconsiderate too.

my favorite is when I am on I-10 West and in the right lane (exit only) to exit on S. Acadian and people try to pass by getting in the exit only lane thinking it's a new 5th lane.

Random traffic on the interstate where there is no exits or on ramps.

I never understood the need to rubberneck.
I mean is your life that pathetic where you need to view someone else's misery?
