I never denied that. But if you read my link, you'd see the argument is about whether this overlap is due to the recent Arab expansion, or is a holdover from an original Neolithic expansion. The newer studies contend that this prevalence has an origin older than Arab expansion in the 700's.

Prior to being able to cross the Sahara, North African and Arabic peoples were mainly caucasoid.
Negroid Slaves from sub-Saharan Africa into the populations of these areas, particularly after the Muslim conquest (not to mention Mongoloid blood from invasions) Led to this area being much more mixed today.

Eugenics and selective breeding aside, the fact is that the semitic peoples share caucasoid characteristics. Jews today (especially Sephardic and Ashkenazi, the Northern tribes of Israel's descendants) share far more caucasian characteristics than Oriental/Asiatic peoples.

Which is why Jews don't share Rb1 or other shared phenotypes. Some groups in the Caucasus region have a 99% over lap with the subgroup mentioned earlier.
