I'm confused. How can he be Caucasian and Semite? He certainly wouldn't have very much in common with Northern Europeans.

Please look up the definition of caucasian and then concede that it is not an ethnic identification exclusive to northern Europeans.

It doesn't. I'm skeptical of your claim that Jesus would somehow be both Semite and look unlike Semitic people of the ME.

I've never heard anyone say Arabs are white. I doubt Arabs consider themselves white. If the census does this then that's the census.
Cleopatra was Greek and Ancient Greece was European. Just like modern Greece.

I don't honesty know the exact definitions of Semite or Caucasian. But I always assumed Jesus looked like a typical ancient Jew in Palestine and every Christian with any basic education believes the same. Not white. But is it so unnatural for Europeans to reimagine him, who is divine, in their own image? Are white people the only people to make their god look like themselves?

Ancient Greece was just as European as ancient Turkey. The boundary between Europe and Asia is pretty arbitrary.

Yeah I don't care about that. Saying that he is both Semitic and European, as well as being genetically distinct from near-neighbors, is an argument I don't buy.

Afrocentrists are nuts. They want to claim that Moses, Hannibal, Jesus, the ancient Egyptians and most everyone else of historical note as being black. it's all a giant cover up on the part of every historian over centuries to deny this.

I wouldn't deny that, but Palestinian Arabs are categorized the same as Gulf Arabs, for better or worse, under the broad category of Semitic peoples.

At no point would Greece ever be considered Middle Eastern. If you want to say the boundaries move and are arbitrary and Turkey has changed, fine. Turkey was dominated by Greece and Rome for centuries although geographically it's Asia. But Greece was and is Europe.
