That is not what I'm saying. However, Arabs are a sizeable enough portion (7%) and growing (75% increase since the year 2000 LINK) to be a noticeable enough reason to see why Brexit happened.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic, but the three largest groups of British Asians are people of Pakistani, Indian, and Bangladeshi origin. The South Asian region has more Muslims than all of the ME. The British categorize Arabs as "Asian," with estimates putting that population of Arabs at around 350,000, with 77 percent of that group Muslim. In contrast, there are 1.1 million British Pakistanis and another 500,000 British Bangladeshis, who are almost certainly Muslim.

What is the 7% number referring to? Arabs would be categorized as Asians in the British system, not as a distinct race.

No, because British people felt that Polish and other Eastern Europeans were taking their jobs. Hence why free movement (apart of the four freedoms of the EU) has been such a sticking point.
