What’s going on in Georgia 555 cases 20 Deaths

They have almost have the cases as Louisiana and exact same number of deaths.

Louisiana has nearly 300 more cases than that.

Michigan has 797 cases, 8 deaths

Atlanta and New Orleans are very similar in make up.

They have less cases but the same amount of deaths. That would seem like they have more old people. With a lower number in cases you would think their deaths would be lower as well.

I've heard that some states are still not doing widespread testing, so maybe they're only testing the very sick/near death patients to confirm the diagnosis. Wouldn't that skew the numbers?

Louisiana particularly New Orleans: Mardi Gras.
Georgia particularly Atlanta: ATL Airport.

The number of cases in Georgia is likely around 10 times that number. Testing is still pretty limited and for high risk cases.

Everybody’s testing differently. Can’t compare numbers yet.
