Yeah I’m still not quite sure how folks still don’t realize number of cases is entirely reliant on how many tests have been administered and the selection process of who to test.

You have to understand that the OP is not very smart on any subject.

Several deaths have come from Albany, a rural town in southwest GA. It's become a hotspot likely due to the virus being spread at two funerals. The initial spread seems to have been among an older sector of people. The hospital down there sounds pretty overwhelmed.

wut?

If you tested positive for COVID-19 then you’re infected

Everybody’s testing differently. Can’t compare numbers yet.

Not just that, every state is reporting differently and every states dashboard or page where they list is different.
I've been trying to do a simple percentage of positive tests, and every state health dept web page I have clicked on is different.

Thats understandable but this just doesn’t make any sense

If your test is positive then you’re infected.

If you’re infected then your test was positive

I think NoSaint means there are a lot more people infected than have actually been tested.

No test means they're not included in any of the stats. Many people will not go to the doctor if they get sick, only if they have a severely high fever or trouble breathing, and from what I've read, many people with COVID-19 won't ever get that bad.

There’s no doubt about it.

Take it with a grain of salt because it a secondary source. I live in the Atlanta area, and from what Ive heard from my friends who work in the hospitals, they still aren't really doing widespread testing. More people are getting turned down and told to go home than people who actually get tested.

Even still, 20 deaths is somewhat concerning.

Atlanta has a pretty busy airport. Not too difficult to figure it out.

The hospitals here in GA are awful! Five have died at one hospital in Albany.
