Can you imagine the mindset of someone who has two children with him that when told he should use basic firearm etiquette for safety comes out blasting. He had no regard for the children's safety and ended up killing innocent people.
Watching the interview I feel sorry for his poor mother who wanted to hold her child while he was still warm. She is a victim here as well.

His father was interviewed and quoted in the NYT and said that his son was one of the victims killed. I went back to the article and it has been scrubbed of names.
Another victim had a first name of Josh.
Turns out Josh was the killer's name.

I just don’t understand how a request for someone to follow the rules and unload their weapon before coming into the range ends with the person opening fire. I’m guessing there more details that will emerge but I just don’t get it.
