Made 17 saves as a lifeguard between 2016-2019. You would be surprised at the number of grown arse adults who freeze up due to fear.
One required resuscitation.
One was a seizure in the water (by far the most terrifying instance as a 16 year old).
All 17 lived to tell the tale. And I made minimum wage for it.

In high school football, I tackled Tommy Cassanova just as he caught a punt, hitting him in the stomach with my helmet, knocking him onto his butt. I also fell back onto my butt and we both sat there staring at one another for about five seconds. He then picked up the ball and through it at me, hitting me in the facemask. (We should both have gotten penalties -- me for spearing and him for unsportsmanlike conduct.)

I am terrible at golf but loved to play. I haven’t played in years though. Mine was my brother and I were playing the course near my house. I had a terrible slice, I’m not sure how the laws of physics allows my ball to go where it does. Anyways my brother and I are on the 18th hole. Which you have to fly the water to the fairway and it is all water on the right side. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna put one in the drink. 18th green is right at the bar and restaurant so there where quite a few people about to watch my shitastic display of golf. I drove it from the tee box dead straight for the first time that day and landed dead center of the fairway. Second shot was a 6 iron to the green that was a pure shot and stopped about 15 feet from the hole. Made my put for birdie in front everyone in what the scorecard says is the hardest hole on the course. I walked off the green like a just won the Masters. Never have I had a hole work out like that for me again.
My other one was my senior year of high school I had 12 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss on Cedric Haywood which signed to play running back at UGA. I don’t think he ever saw the field at UGA but playing at a small private school and having a game like that against a D1 athlete was pretty memorable.
