Mowing the lawn is one of the great mindless check out times of the week.

And with zero turns, you’re basically riding a go kart.

Never going to give that up.

Why make it if you're gonna just get in it again. Makes zero sense.

For me it’s washing clothes.my mom washed all the clothes growing up and now my wife does it.The only time I had to wash my own clothes was 2 months living on my own

This is crazy to me. But I guess I just don't own enough clothes to where I can just put off washing them until whenever. I remember a buddy of mine that said when we moved off to college he had to learn how to use a washing machine because he had never had to wash his clothes before. I couldn't believe it.

I don't understand how people go through their lives like this.

You're one of these people who were never alone with your kids when they were young?

I’m 58. I have never loaded and turned on a dishwasher. I do wash dishes, often, but I always use the sink. We just renovated our kitchen and got a brand new Bosch dishwasher that I’m certain I will never use…it looks nice though

Especially when it's been a warm and humid night and you may have sweated. Let the sheets air out and dry out.

Define taking pride? I just think a lot of “grown men” with kids who are on the on the go to all the kids activities and such probably don’t have hours to spend on yard work weekly. I love cutting grass but cutting an acre and a half with our schedule right now just isn’t fricking possible so I hire it out.

This... I won't let anyone else cut it because I will find something wrong or something they missed. That, and I can do it better. I enjoy gazing at my good looking, freshly groomed yard.

Also, there are FEW things more satisfying then changing out mower blades and getting that fresh, clean cut. So satisfying

Iron my clothes. I've done a shirt maybe 3 or 4 times in my life, but I won't buy or keep clothes that need ironing.

I do not dust the house. It is rare that I help my wife clean inside the house, but when I do I don’t dust.

Even when I was single, I would clean my place but not dust. I just didn’t move my stuff so all my furniture just gradually changed color

As I said, my wife does it, but I have to admit it's nicer climbing into a made bed.

I retired to 4.5 acres.
I'm in the yard the better part of most days
I love being outside in the sun doing physical activity.

I honestly can’t think of anything. I’ve been doing pretty much all of the indoor and outdoor chores regularly since I was young. Someone may eventually mention one that I’m just not thinking of, though.
