From 2015:

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. — DreamVision LLC on Wednesday attempted to put to rest some of the questions Alabamians have had since the company announced its intension to build a massive amusement park named “Dreamvision Soundscapes” in Muscle Shoals, but may have ultimately raised more questions than they answered.

In a 75-minute presentation at the Marriott Muscle Shoals, the company said the park will be built in the Muscle Shoals area as a tribute to the storied musical history of the community. It will have an astounding price tag of $3.5 billion, which DreamVisions says will be funded through private venture capital firm Provident Global Capital. The company stressed Alabama’s love of family values as one of the reasons the park would be a good fit in the region.

The mock-ups of the new park shown during the presentation depict an enormous, brightly colored, technologically advanced park with a central hub, branching out to “spokes” honoring genres of music, from rock and roll to gospel.

At least Dreamvision didn’t start building like the Lacassine water park. Mad respect to them.

As long as they don’t support child grooming, we might take a visit

The same thing that happened to Denham Springs’ Disneyworld park.

I don't think they know who their target audience is going to be

My guess is that there’s no freaking interstate going to that area. That would be helpful.

They need an airport for the RnR people, not a highway. They also don't need a damned attraction park.

Anybody can spend money on plans. Most developers end up way in over their heads, and/or they get laughed out of bank meetings.

And Muscle Shoals is great. Granted it needs a better way to hop over from Huntsville, but I still plan on offing myself for life insurance proceeds for my kids’ college funds by jumping off panty bridge and getting sucked into the damn.

Edit: also there IS an airport that runs 2-3 flight to and from Atlanta for like $40 each way. At least there used to be.

It was a scam (obviously) and one of the guys behind it is now in jail. It was obvious at the start that something didn’t add up.

I am aboot to announce that I will build a $1 billion park in Groveland, Fl, celebrating that... It's Monday.

I am trying to hold off announcing until I get enough cash to buy a pizza and a 6-pack. I just need someone to fund this for me.
