That "Urban Cowboy" fad lasted WAY longer than it should have.

Bunch of drug store cowboys who wouldn't know a bull from a milk cow acting like they could win one of those 5 lb. rodeo belt buckles.

I think a country style bar in Baton Rouge would make a killing. Only real option is the Texas Club and it’s in the getto. Country bar folks don’t like to travel thru the Getto to party and it’s still packed sometimes. Plus you would keep out a lot of the folks that tend to ruin Baton Rouge bars. No rap/ pop/ music at all. No gay craft beers. Whiskey or beer.

Ropers went downhill fast. Probably a year before I went to USM is when it got really bad. They closed down here pretty recent
