Ward was spotted strutting around NOLA for the championship game. I bet Red and his family wishes he could do the same...

His family that left their father to live on the street really want justice and peas.

You teaching Anger Management or struggling with it?

Not doubting you because I know you have knowledge of such things, but it's been almost 3 years. What in hell can take longer than 3 years to process?
I mean, is it wrong to conclude that the family has enough $$ to cause these delays? I would think the racial/class component would have enough eyes on this trial that it would be somewhat progressing along as scheduled. Apparently not.
Is there any chance a settlement is in the works behind the scenes? I wouldn't think that's possible with a murder charge, but I'm ignorant of how things like that work, especially in New Orleans.

No. It was some breakfast with Kyle Williams as the guest speaker. I was asked to attend by a family friend.

Not sure why this thread caught my attention but after reading about a homeless black man in New Orleans named “Red”, I think I might have met him.
Not sure if it’s the same guy, but about 15 years ago a couple a friends and I went to Mardi Gras for the first time. We weren’t there long and somehow ended up bullshitting with this homeless black guy who called himself Red. He was funny as shite and couldn’t stop laughing at our dumb drunk asses either. He gave us a lot of tips on staying safe, how to avoid cops, and even how to piss in public without getting caught.
We still talk about him whenever we are able to get together and the subject of Mardi Gras comes up. I really hate to hear that some a-hole beat him to death. He may have been homeless, but he didn’t deserve that.
RIP Red

Went to high school (Friendswood High School) south of Houston with him. Played football with him for 6 years. He was no tough guy, just middle of the crowd.
Does have confirmed herpes though.
