Whataburger is one of the most overrated things in Texas, and frankly, that's saying a lot.
It's no better than In-N-Out or Five Guys.

Why do these threads always have to devolve into a Whataburger vs. In N Out pissing match
I like both of them equally.
I love getting a double meat double cheese Whataburger with grilled jalapenos, grilled onions, pickles, mustard, and lettuce
I love getting the All Time favorites at Whataburger too, specifically the Chop House Cheddar Burger and Patty Melt
I also love getting 4x4s and Double Doubles at In N Out Animal Style with Animal Fries
Both are good at what they do
Culvers is good too but only if you are getting custard.

Whataburger is extremely visible and active in the community. They sponsor schools, athletic teams, give people with mental and physical disabilities jobs...and they raise money for countless other things. And people in Texas reward them with fanatic loyalty.
