It is usually the friend you least expect! So working around practically all women for almost two decades I have noticed two scenarios. It usually starts with them becoming more attractive (lose weight, buy tits). Then they either start the slut phase they did not have as they have options, or they find a man that they deem an "upgrade"

One 35yo chick who had never been married admitted to having "close to 100 sexual partners"

The sex was fantastic but she was instantly placed on the "not marriage material" list

A couple.

And several coworkers.

A former boss. That woman was HOT.

Plenty of Celebs.

And Owlie in that flag shirt.

You take that number and divide (M) or multiply (F) it by three, then you get the real total.

The rule of three. It's an exact science. Consistent as gravity.

What are our "fresh" social norms now, Chuncey?

Slightly different scenario here, but I have a co-worker who was fat shamed and verbally abused by her husband. She moved out. She lost a ton of weight.

The fat shaming worked

One of my best friends asked me my number a couple of years ago. She was surprised when I said 6.

Then she was like I guess I am a slut mine is like 17.

Then she laid out exactly the same scenario some have already mentioned. She is 5ft 8in and was about 200 lbs in her freshman year in college. She decided to get fit. She dropped 75 lbs, and slept without about 10 guys in a year. I think she had slept with like 2 before that.

20 plus years later, she is still only about 120 lbs. Happily married with 2 kids.

This likely stems back to outdated social norms that put pressure on men to have more sexual experience to appear masculine, and put pressure on women to have less experience so as not to seem promiscuous.

Yeah well maybe it should come back in fashion.

Some guys are obviously mentally stronger than I am because I don’t believe I have the capacity or capability to be with someone who had this kind of number.

It’s best not to know because of the mental images often fabricated inside a person’s head. But thankfully I know my wife’s number and even though she has never even visited Utah, one might say she could certainly fit right in as a Utah resident.

Mine is high but I have been single most of my life. Social norms concerning sexuality are relaxing. I definitely think women should be able to enjoy the same sex life men do. I also think they should have to deal with all the consequences that come with it the same as men do.

If it’s one thing I could recommend to anyone, is not to give that number out. It can only be used against you. Don’t even tell a best friend, as it can come out during drinking episodes among others.

And sometimes it just best not knowing.
