Are you looking to buy one of these?

But it’s a trash can…you know, where trash goes

Tbh this thread has confirmed it’s a decent business idea. There’s been 4-6 people out of 30~ that said they already have or would pay for this service. Scaled to a city, that’s a lot of potential customers
But maybe pressure washing would be better. Anyways I’m not looking to start a business, I’m already operating a successful small business. I’m helping a friend brainstorm business ideas & wanted feedback on this one from the OT

We occasionally dump a 1/2 gallon of bleach in each and run the hose in them. This is an extreme circumstance though.

My buddies here in the Chicago suburbs own a side business called Sani-Can. I believe it's 15 bucks a can, but you can do all kinds of different memberships.
They do ours for free cause we live in the same neighborhood. The truck and cleaner they use makes those suckers look brand new.
I'd made them let me pay them after I had a crawfish/shrimp boil in June

There’s probably 5-6 companies that do it in Lafayette already. I don’t know what I pay but they come every 3 months.

I think it would take someone paying me $25 to clean my own trash can
Posted on 1/24/23 at 6:38 pm to Shite_kicker
Wtf?
I cleaned mine myself a few weeks ago. Just don’t put shite in it that isn’t in a bag and it won’t get overly disgusting

Maybe Baton Rouge isn’t the right market if they replace cans for free.
Yeah Im in BR and the lid was broken from my can. Called 311 and had a new one 3 days later.

This is one of the dumbest things I have heard of. It is a freaking trash can. Mine rarely stinks but when it does I will just buy the cheapest bottle of bleach and dump some in it and squirt it with the hose.

If you work from home...plow the neighbors wives while the men are away

$0.00. It’s a trash can.

Nothing. Seems like something a hose and soap would do in 5-10 minutes. They’re trash cans.they stay outside. Why would anyone have a “subscription” for this? What a scam

Been in my house 4 years. They don’t stink once the trash is collected. Never have cleaned them. $300/year sounds like lighting money on fire to me

I paid $100 in Houston before. My dog shite all over his bed, I mean explosive shite. Ate cat shite on a walk and fricked his stomach up. Threw it in the can. An animal got in and opened it, then maggots came and the smell was horrible. I couldn't even get the hose to it or I'd barf everywhere (and probably shite too) and pass out. It was July so it baked out there in that fricking heat. Best $100 I ever spent. I almost kicked my dogs arse but didn't want him to explode shite everywhere again.

Guy across the street has his done and they bring a truck that has a similar lift to a garbage truck. Stands at the back, presses a button, can gets picked up into truck and sprayed. He has a tank obviously.
There is a company on the Northshore that does this.
