You did well. I probably would have filed a police report instead of contacting him directly, but the end result of what you did is good too.

I probably would have dumped it all over his yard after dark. I don't like confrontation.

I would've been annoyed, Plotted his death 18 different ways, but ultimately done nothing & let it go. I'm not very confrontational, to say the least. I applaud your effort. Dude is a dickbag.

Almost exactly the same.

he put some garbage bags on your property so you went through it and called his work to make him come get it? what a frickin loser just put it with your garbage and forget about it

So if I decided to use your front yard as my personal landfill, you'd be OK with it?

I've had similar situation but I simply loaded the shite up and dumped it back in dudes yard.

I thought about taking it to his work and putting it back in his truck.

A cop friend said he didn't know if that would be illegal but that it would definitely be funny enough that the judge would throw it out, but I couldn't logistically make it work with my work schedule.

I don't fault you for what you did but why would someone dump trash (especially what sounds like run of the mill trash and not some huge item) on someone's property?

if its a one time thing for a few garbage bags just leave it there by yours and the garbage people will grab it. dont see the big deal

I live out far enough that we don't have garbage pickup.

I did go through multiple scenarios in my head of sending bags of shite to his house, laying down tack strips for him to drive over, etc.

Same thing... I have called the police several times and even with mail from their address the police weren't able to do anything. Go straight to the person and shame them..., in my case the police have not been much help when it comes to people dumping trash.

You handled it extremely well. Once I identified who it was I would have set his property on fire.
