Not sure how the Chinese are involved here. Sounds trashy either way.

You obviously are just spouting BS. Click on my ID and see the threads for yourself.

It is off topic for this thread.

I am told---long ago when I was a kid--such things were handled by the community. Husbands like this guy would leave town suddenly and would never come back.

Did I touch a nerve? I think I touched a nerve. While I may have exaggerated somewhat, you've made far more threads about tariffs in the last 2 years than I have made threads, period, in my 8 years of posting on this site.

Playfully poking fun at posters based on their post history when they start a thread is par for the course on the OT, baw. Someone of your post count should know that by now. If you can't take the heat, pics or GTFO. The rule of TD is that OP will get made fun of, and if OP takes the abuse with good humor and/or humility, he will get help. If OP reacts emotionally, the OT will smell blood and crucify them mercilessly until the thread gets irrevocably hijacked or anchored into oblivion.

I'll be sure to be there for your next tariff thread which you'll start sometime this weekend.

Notice, I'm not the only one making tariff and China jokes, so clearly, you post about that topic often enough to be known for it.

One of the first things I said BUT nonetheless I would not blame my daughter for his actions.

This is the right approach to take (you should blame Trump! jk, ) She's vulnerable at this point and needs protection, nurturing, and guidance. You need to be an emotional rock for her and let her vent. At first, don't try to help, just empathize, but once you've let her cry it out, don't hesitate to go ahead and take action.

In all seriousness, you need to get her away from husband #2 ASAP. You need to march down to the courthouse and get a restraining order. If this is in Louisiana, you can use that active restraining order as cause for a fault divorce which can be entered into immediately without having to wait the 12 months. She could have the entire process done in under a month after all filing delays are complete.

This is NOT my daughter!!

This story simply made me reflect on what I might do--god forbid--I were ever in this father of the daughter's shoes.

Well, that's what I would do if it were my daughter. Granted, the first question I would ask is "how do I have a daughter"?

Weak pull out game like mine

Well, twice out of a bunch is still a pretty good average I guess.

First get a restraining order.
Second, buy a gun and know how to use it.
Third see a Psychiatrist for mental stress.

The problem isn’t that he’s wrong, it’s that he spams the board with multiple threads per day on the same topic voicing the same opinions, and when economic data proves his breathless chicken-little claims wrong, he refuses to own up to anything and just keeps on spamming the board. He’s been doing it for over 2 years now, and it’s exhausting.

TPA is similarly obsessed with a single subject, but he has the common decency to just continue bumping and updating the same 2 or 3 threads rather than start a new one every 2 hours on the same subject.

Dude’s over the top aggravating. But, to be fair, he was spot on about the film tax credits.
