It's a good idea to keep a safe distance from rolling stock but they were in zero danger of being fired upon, even if they had live rounds, which I doubt.

The driver gets out and goes up to the tank. He might not have gotten shot, but what if the driver of the tank was asian?

This ain't Vietnam. Our troops are trained very well on community relations. This was a big mistake but they will be very well compensated for lost revenue and we'll probably send the kids there a truck load of xboxs with American Flags on them.

Only if Romania pays its 2%.

Our government needs to pay the people for their losses and apologize. Mistakes are made, make them right.
They'll be paid. Most likely well beyond what it was worth. When we rolled through that field in Germany the guy who owned it seemed positively thrilled about it.

Yeah, that's why I said I would keep a safe distance but it was just a field problem. At most, they might have had blanks. You don't cruise around NATO countries in Europe locked and loaded with live rounds.

Are you trying to kill them?

The last time I ate Popeye's was on Conn Barracks in Schweinfurt. I spent the next 24 hours shitting my soul out.

You would do better with McDonald's. I guess it is the name recognition but the eastern european women that I know practically drop their panties if you take them to McDonalds.

That one sucked too.

I was on Campbell for a year and a half working for G6. The German sandwich place was always on point.

The eastern european fast food and panty drooping connection only works with McDonald's from my experience. Which brings me back to my question about how are our boys in uniforms supposed to impress the eastern european farm girls?

It was probably the LT's fault.

Can't spell lost without the LT.

These are millennials who can't go anywhere without GPS. They're lucky they didn't end up in a lake.
