My older sister said all kinds of shite to my mom that I never would have said. Women like to make you think that they're more civil than men but it's just a big illusion.

Yeah, I think it might be a daughter thing. I am sure they get away with a lot more than sons do.

If I had said anything like that to my mom, my dad would still be beating my arse with his handy belt.......and he has been dead for 5 years and I'm in my 40's....

Don't apologize. At least I don't live in the bad part of the trailer park.... Where PJ lives.

Nothing right now. She passed away in '05.

If I would have used that kind of language in front of my mom when I was a teenager my dad would have knocked my teeth out. I can't imagine what would have happened had I directed it towards her.

The reason I never even considered such a thing is because raising me right started at birth. By the time I was a teenager I well knew how to conduct myself around grownups. It's called respect.

I raised my 3 boys using the same kind of training and expectations. I'm super proud of the product.

Never dreamed of talking to my mom like that. If I did however, my dad would have beat the shite out of me.

Gender dont matter. It only took one good arse whipping for me to get the point growing up dont frick with momma, she is hood lol.

Im still scared of my dad and im bigger then him. I got the type of dad that would pistol whip you if you piss him off.

If the parent didn't go grab her, get in her face and slap the shite out of her, then that's probably the biggest reason this girl is talking to her mom like that. Parenting.

I went out with a teacher once. She explained to me that basically it's the parents fault to begin with. Years of bending over backwards to please the child has resulted in this type of behavior. This is what we're seeing manifested in millenials.
My dad beat my arse with a belt when I got out of line. I remember friends getting slapped when they didn't say "yes ma'am" or "yes sir" to an adult. People need to stop treating their kids like friends.

I would have been spanked within an inch of my life and then grounded for a week for good measure. Cell phones didn't exist back then but surely it would have been taken.

When my teenage daughter talks like that to me I tell her not to do their chores and then I do them for her. I have to maintain our close friendship. My daughter just wants to find herself and sometimes I'm holding her back. I even do her homework b/c she needs to spend time with her friends. I love my daughter.
