No plan for escape. But I'm running down the hall and playing with those double DD's in case it's my last 10 minutes on earth.

Ditch the weapons, change location and try to mingle with the survivors when they evacuate.

I work in a major psychiatric hospital. We have active shooter training twice per year. We have also made improvements on our buildings that allow us to retreat and defend. Honestly, the training is impressive.

Across from my office is a supply and server room. I’d lock myself in there and then climb into the ceiling.

Depends on where the shooter is coming from, but I have multiple exits that I can get to. And if I can get outside I have something for the shooter stashed away.

My job training has been to tactically and swiftly move to the threat. If I cant eliminate it immediately then I hope to at least draw his attention / gun fire away from unarmed innocent people until more help arrives.

Take cover. Determine where gunfire is emanating from. Return fire if i can, if not find a place i can return fire from that will jeopardize the least amount of civilians.
