Breaking that halfback sweep in fifth grade and running 60 yards for a touchdown while Elizabeth Selby watched and no one grabbed my flag - Mr. Ryan’s hands going up signaling touchdown for the win.

Never getting the math problem right on the overhead projector.

Each year in elementary the lunch room ladies would sell crafts right before Christmas break. My grandmother would give me a few dollars to buy my mom something each year. Might sound strange but that has always stuck with me as a good memory of school. That was back in the mid to late 80’s.

That day when the books that you ordered arrived but you totally forgot about them because you'd put your book order in around September and they'd show up in April and you'd be so excited but when your mom would be out shopping with you and would ask you if you wanted to get a book you'd be all, "WTF Mom?"
Scholastic Book Club? Awesome.

When the handouts with the purple ink were hot off the presses and we'd immediately huff the shite out of them. That smell was so awesome.
Then using that big-arse paper-cutter to quarter or half the sheets. They wouldn't just let any dickhead cut up those sheets.

Patch the mother fricking pony filmstrips.

Thanks Patch!

The first time I ever did that in kindergarten, I skinned the crap out of both my knees when I landed. I was irrationally terrified of that drill from then on.

Outdoor PE classes. Softball and "touch" football. One day, a guy brought a helmet. Crazy motherfricker dove over the top of the line to score a TD.
Blaine Hopkins, you were fricking nuts.

We were out of control with those things in the mid 90's. I remember them being banned somewhere around 2nd or 3rd grade. And it was due to the urban legend of the metal coming through and cutting kids wrists

RIF!
Reading is Fundamental.. for the young ‘uns here, RIF was a thing like a book fair, where you’d show up at school one day and they’d have piles and piles of books and magazines (think ‘Dynamite!’ Or Scholastic Magazine) and you could pick a selected amount of them to take home for free and read.. not sure if they still do it, but it was like Christmas morning came early.

Teo recess periods of football with a make-out session with the hottest chick in the class in-between.
Miss those days.
Back when girls weren't about a permanent pay-4-play scheme called marriage.

When someone would puke and the janitor (ours was named Purf (wtf)) would come around with his orange powder. Really broke up the monotony of a day.
Getting married in 2nd grade.
Those 2 seconds in music class when everyone would hit the right notes on their recorders.
Any athletic competition, be it field day or gym class, when I could pretend I was basically an alpha professional athlete and think, for some reason, that all the girls noticed.
