Had 3 in high school...
End of freshmen year I had a new customized GMC stepside pickup.
Sophomore year I got a new 280ZX Turbo.
Senior year I got a new 300ZX Turbo.
I was a bit spoiled.

1979 Gran Prix, had the V-8.
Thing was a beast, it was a tank, i remember running into shite while driving in the snow(not peoples cars), and it didnt do a thing to the bumpers. Those steel bitches gave out damage, didn't take it.

Crazy. Mine was also a 1978 Spitifre. Blue. Passed down from my dad. He must have really loved me! Got mine in 1985. Every now and then I look on Craigslist and think about getting another one. One day I probably will.

Around 1992 I bought a 1969 Triumph TR6. It was a beautiful car and got lots of looks. I always enjoyed the Sunday afternoon drives, but hated the long walk home. I eventually walked home for the last time and decided to sell it. Strangely enough, I still also like to look at Craigslist and Ebay at Triumphs. Wouldn't mind getting one of the TR8's with the V8 engine that came in them.

I had it "before it was cool"... I had a ton in it, lift, tires winch, paint interior, etc. Sold it when I graduated H.S. IN 1995 for $6k.

It would be $18k now with this market.

The guy I sold it to still has it, he Rhino lined inside and out and leaves it outside with no top. I tried to buy it back it several times to no avail.
