Pretty cool list. I could probably dig up a lot of those in my old toy boxes. I imagine I have all of the Fraggle Rock ones in a box somewhere.

The recent Marvel toys were pretty cool too. My kids love those.

I remember Burger King did promos with the original Indiana Jones way back when I was a kid and then again when crystal skull came out.

They are on that McDonald's list.

That's the one I remember that was huge. Lines for days. People just buying the meal grabbing the beanie baby and just tossing the food.

I remember waiting in those Beany Baby McDonalds lines with my mom. My mom was into collecting those but no where near as obsessed as some other moms of my friends

My grandfather passed when beanie babies were hot and my grandmother took to collecting them. When McDonald's came out with them I remember having McDonald's for pretty much every dinner. It was so out of control there were cheeseburgers in her house and my mom would take us.

That's been years now, my grandmother is gone, and my mom is now starting to sell them off. My elderly neighbor just bought some for $1 a piece out of a tub that is sitting in my dining room.

I think my favorite stuff was the power ranger pogs they did.

I was 15 before the Happy Meal originated.

Considering I was 15 when I lost my virginity, I'd say any of those times I went for a burger with a chick in my teens was a Happy Meal!

Best toy I ever pulled out of a happy meal was my right hand.

Pull back cars with McDonald's characters on them. And California raisins as someone mentioned. Beanie babies were big, but after my childhood

Late 70s early 80s the boxes themselves had stuff on every side, puzzles and stuff, my memories are of that more than the toys

Do they still put toys in happy meals? Asking for a friend

Yep. McDonald's is still the largest distributor of toys on the planet. By a large margin. I mean, it's not even close.

I still have mine somewhere. Second place goes to the Halloween buckets, which I also have stashed away somewhere.

My favorite were the animated toys from Dinosaurs.

Pizza Hut had legit hand puppets back in the day too...
