Me and a buddy of mine played all of those. Fortress America was number two behind Axis & Allies.

Risk, but it was hard to get family members to commit to that lengthy of a game. Especially given that I had 3 older sisters who didn't connect with the game

Monopoly and Risk, too close to call a clear winner. Clue was probably #3.

I remember playing a seemingly never ending game of Monopoly by gas light during Hurricane Andrew.
Connect Four, Mousetrap, Game of Life, Trouble, Hungry Hungry Hippo, Guess Who, Battleship, and Tiddlywinks were other board game staples in the house. Later it was a card game called Racko, Sequence, and Rummikub.
