12 gauge single shot shotgun when I was 11. Turned 12 the following year and was finally old enough to hunt.

Also got a roller hockey set with some roller blades. This was right after Mighty Ducks came out and I was hitting knuckle pucks all day!

This was definitely in my top 3 gifts. I was really into He-Man when it was on.

You were the envy of the whole neighborhood if you got the G.I. Joe aircraft carrier. Nice.

#2 in my top 3 gifts. Nintendo is #1. I feel fortunate to have grown up in the Atari/NES era.

I remember getting this and the basketball player. They were cool toys, but I remember them getting boring fairly quickly.
“Ok, I made a field goal (or basket) from across the kitchen, now what can I play with?”

Go kart, four wheeler, or my Ruger 10/22.
Looking back, I had a great childhood. Even though I was a dickhead to my parents over stuff that didn't matter now, but at the time, it was "life and death". I'm thankful now that I'm older. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy kid.
Now that I have kids of my own, I can only imagine the stress they went through to make me happy. Seeing my kids happy on Christmas morning is better than all the gifts I ever got combined.

Boom box like this in 1985, 86. me and my friends wore this thing out. Looking back, every adult in the neighborhood had to hate my parents’ fricking guts
