We couldn’t have black team gear because it was not an official school color and it was a “hateful” color.

To preface, each year the football team wound have sweats, shirts, and shorts made.

Also we’re not allowed to personalize the gear with names. They claimed it was a team sport so only team gear was allowed.

This sane school will post about their prestigious alumni all over the Internet but when it comes to students who won’t profit them, no individuality allowed.

We, the females, could not wear pants to school. Only dresses or skirts and the length couldn't be any shorter than right above the knee!

That's plenty good of a reason. Wearing black when it's not a team color is very tacky.

Hard to believe this idiot would misremember the actual events.

It's hard to believe his mind would be his second most crippled feature behind his personality.

When we were voting for Junior High or High School Presidents, you at first could make a funny speech to get people to vote for you. I got elected due to doing a funny speech that ridiculed the whole thing. The next year, they stopped that shite where someone could only go up to the microphone and say "Vote for me", which makes it pointless. You don't do jack shite in that position anyway except plan prom, which I passed onto my Mom obviously.

HS (1981-1985) : don't chew gum.

1985- kids wore blue jeans and shirts.

2018- kids at Tara HS must wear uniforms. Geez.

That's a new one. Was it completely bald? Or was there a certain length they didn't allow it to be?

They wouldn't allow the female teachers to bang us.

Really sucked and I am still mad about it.

With the female teachers I had at my school, I am glad that was the case

Uniforms have been a thing for public schools in Calcasieu Parish since the new millennium

Had to tuck shirt in and wear a belt.

Went from having a pep rally every Friday during football season as a freshman to having just 4 the rest of my high school career.

Girls had to wear skirts at knee level or below after my freshman year. My freshman year was the best.

Buzz cut was fine. This guy shaved it completely bald, which apparently they decided was a violation of a rule that I’m fairly certain never existed.

Plaquemine is large enough to have 4 areas?

It's 4 small area, but it also included area that is outside of city limits. Although things would get serious, it was laughable because we are talking about one area being a street (with a few side streets).. and then right across the highway, there would be another few streets that was an "area".
