1989 Ford Taurus SHO. 5 speed manual transmission, 24V DOHC V6 YAMAHA engine. Not a musclecar by any stretch but it was a pure joy to drive once he'd allow it.

1984 Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue

I was partial to the International but usually got stuck with the John Deere.

It was awesome. It actually got stolen from my mom's work. They took off to Greensburg and robbed a bank and got away. Found it in downtown BR on some numbered street with nothing taken. Ran great after that

66 Galaxie 500 with the first ever factory installed 8 track.

In those days $5 would fill the tank.

The Mercedes is probably still running. The Camry is probably Chinese sheet steel by now.

Also drove a 1978 Chevy pickup for a while. I think I saw it a few years ago tooling around back home.

From about 25 mph if you floored it you could squeal the tires. It had the skylight on it, which was nice. Too bad those older cars just didn't last all that long. I think we got rid of it about 5 or 6 years later. With less than 100K miles, the engine was in bad shape. I wonder why?

That 455 had a huge appetite for gas too! When the gas shortage came along, a lot of those were parked, traded or just put away. Too bad, it was one of Olds best designs.
