I had a paid off Hyundai Elantra that I only got 6k for. Never should’ve traded it in, I should’ve kept it for the kids.

That was the most powerful engine offered, the Pontiac 400.
The Olds 403 was the other engine, much slower, but better top-end.

Really miss my 2019 C7 Grand Sport in Sebring Orange. Had it for a year then moved to the “country” and traded it on a pickup truck. Turns out I didn’t really need a truck so I ditched that less than a year later for a Mach 1.
I also had a ‘23 C8 Vette that I traded on a Bronco Everglades. Loved that Vette too, but don’t miss it as much as the orange Grand Sport. That was my all time favorite.

64 1/2 Mustang Fastback, 289 High Performance. 3 speed on the column. It would scoot.

I had that same Blazer. Prior to me it was a Georgia Power truck. Mine was white. Engine was easy to work on. If I remember right a 1/2 inch socket for 99% of the bolts. Sold it when I joined the Air Force. Wish I still had it. Took a while to get up to speed (I used to joke 0 to 60 in 4 miles downhill with a tail wind) once at speed it would just barrel on. You could pull the key from the ignition while driving. Always funny to hand the passenger and say “here hold these” while rolling down the highway.

Wasn't powerful enough. I found a 68 Gran Prix with a Pontiac 428, rebuilt it and replaced the 400.
I still have the 428 in the back of my shop

92 F150, had the straight six motor and extended bed. Had 365,000 miles on it and traded it in after 9/11 because of fuel prices skyrocketing. It never had a breakdown the whole way and I guarantee you if it hasn't been wrecked it's still on the road. I wish i could go back and stop myself from trading it.

1970 Torino GT. 351 Cleveland and C6 high performance trans. That car would fly. Paid $1200 for it and did some work to it. It was a head turner. Cragar rims, Uniroyal tiger paws. I loved that car.
