Give your wife some cash and tell them to go see a movie. You go grab some beer and watch college football

Louisiana museum down near Capitol is interesting. They have a submarine that was found in lake pontchatrain during on of the Early wars. Also have a full size shirmp boat inside.

Enjoy the nice weather. Take them to Zoo Lights at the BR Zoo. Walk the LSU Lakes during the day. See the Christmas lights in downtown.

Lsu basketball games. My dad took me when i was young. Now i bring my kids. They love it. Very relaxing atmosphere. Kid friendly. Tickets are like $7. But if your kids hold up two fingers people will give them tickets for free.

Louisiana State Museum is great. So is Rural Life, especially the outdoor buildings. They actually have a Christmas special on December 6.

Louisiana Arts and Science Museum has IMAX and planetarium. USS Kidd, you can tour the ship. State Capitol building has an observatory deck at the top where you can see the city, and the grounds are nice as well. All three plus the State Museum are downtown, and Rural Life is on Essen Lane.

Skip it. Went earlier this morning and it was absolutely terrible. $20/person to look at some beat up dinosaur statues. Plus an extra $5 to sit on "ride" a dinosaur which maybe moves a quarter inch the whole "ride"
