Mine is 160 months and does long division, plays an instrument, and wants to drive.

Kid is 20 months and he can already count to 20 and knows easily 500 words. You can basically have a conversation with this kid. It's unbelievable.
But it's also kind of freaking me out. How do I channel his energy into positive endeavours? Do I need to send this kid to some kind of x men school for geniuses?

I was that kid. People thought I was a midget.
All the usual things apply emotionally and psychologically.
Dr Spock's books are good for you to understand child developments ups and downs and patterns.
If you read appropriate age books with him, so he can see, he'll be reading long before school.
Montessori half day as soon as you can afford it.
Steiner/Waldorf will oppose high end early learning.
One thing I can say is plan on teaching math in a systematic way. There is no ceiling.
Combine tutoring/home schooling with socialization. Don't let an ordinary school near him. He'll be bored out of his skull and he will lose years. Main thing I got from school was sports and being in chorus. School itself was a total loss.
We had books and encyclopedia. A 300,000 word funk and wagnall.
Great. I lived close to libraries. Read voluminously.
Fwiw my daughter tested at the highest possible iq.
We had her in Montessori and then in private school very small classes, all gifted.
She's always been a bit of a challenge. Questions everything. Great sense of humor.

Find a good Montessori school
My oldest was similar, 6 now and it’s still tough since she can argue quite well now

St Marks in Dallas for boys
Hockaday for girls
Not for everyone, but the education is second to none.

Counting to 20 by age 2 is normal. Both of mine did that by 2. Now the 500 words thing if true is pretty good.

Basic mathematical functions. Once that is mastered, send him to Harvard to start cleaning the floors. Is his name Will?

Make sure you teach him semaphore and Morse Code.
The 21st Century will go to people who know those two languages.
